Grasshopper Soccer is an organisation that aims to teach and develop soccer skills among children in a safe and enjoyable environment. Founded in 1990, we already have a two-decade experience in moulding young minds and getting them into sports. We do this through our Grasshopper Soccer programs that we continue to professionally develop so children can have even more fun and learn more about the game of soccer.
Our programs are designed for children aged 2-12 years. Each program progressively provides a building block upon which children can improve on their game and character. More than just a game, we see Grasshopper soccer as a valuable addition to children’s learning over this period of time.
Once a child is enrolled in a particular program, they will experience a mix of fun skill development activities with actual small sided soccer games. We also believe that parental involvement is a key element at Grasshopper soccer. That is why we encourage parents to support their children especially in programs designed for younger players.
With many teams ranging from Grade 1 to Year 12, teams are graded within their year levels based on their ability and experience. Matches are held after school on weekdays and weekends. A fully accredited Action Referee looks after all the on court activities while mums and dads are welcome to become involved by helping to organise the team.
If your child is sports minded and enjoys having fun in a team atmosphere you can form and register your own team with friends, register your child with some friends to be placed in the same team or register as an individual.
Competitions are conducted during every school term. See our Sports Timetable for scheduling and pricing details and register your team now or make an enquiry if you require further information.
